Newly Formed Senior Ministry will Reach Out to our Parishioners at Home, Senior C.A.R.E Team (Communion, Activities, Resources & Encouragement). Our new senior ministry is up and running. We currently have a number of volunteers trained to distribute Communion weekly and pray with those, of any age, who are unable to attend Mass. There are also volunteers who will visit or make phone calls to any seniors. Our goal is to encourage and support anyone who may be confined to their homes and would enjoy spending some time with another member of our parish family. Our volunteers will be available for prayer, reading, playing games or just some time socializing. This is for members of both St. Boniface and St. Lawrence Parishes.
Senior CARE Team Needs Volunteers! We are looking for some new volunteers to become part of our team. We need individuals who are available during the day to visit with our seniors in their homes. We are also looking for people to bring Communion to home bound individuals in both parishes on weekdays or weekends. If you have never been a Eucharistic Minister, we can train you. If you are currently a Eucharistic Minister trained for Mass, the hospital, or nursing care facilities, and would like to help, please contact the rectory or Diane & Keith Johnson ddkjohn7@gmail.com.
