Vigil for Racial Justice

Posted on June 12, 2020 in: General News

One of my favorite saints is Moses the Ethiopian.  His black skin on holy icons surrounded by gold leaf has always attracted me as a symbol of sanctity in our midst. To remind ourselves of the beauty of all of God's creation, and to hope that we can restore some of the damage we have done because of slavery and centuries of oppression, there will be a prayer service. After work, join us on Thursday June 25th at 5:30pm at St Boniface.   (Fr Bill)

"My friends, we cannot tolerate or turn a blind eye to racism and exclusion in any form and yet claim to defend the sacredness of every human life," Pope Francis
