Vacation Bible School

 It’s time again for summer VBS, sponsored by St Boniface/St Lawrence, St. Ann, and St. Joseph the Worker. To make VBS affordable for families, we charge a fee that covers only a small portion of the cost of this program. The parishes are responsible for the remaining costs. So, we are asking parishioners to help us by donating some of the items we need to offset those costs. In the back of each church is a poster with items and monetary requests. VBS will be held June 19–23 from 8:45 a.m.–12:15 p.m. at the St. John Neumann Regional Academy High School campus on Penn Street in Williamsport. The "Christ is Alive Essay Contest" is open to PREP students in grades 3-8. Are you interested in sharing your faith with teens? We are looking for a few adults to assist with our high school ministry program. We meet two Sunday evenings a month and need two adults in attendance each time. These adults would act as assistant mentors on an “as needed” basis. Come for a taco meal, meet other parish families, and share in the Sacrament of Reconciliation on Wednesday, October 26 at 5:30 p.m. at St. Lawrence Parish Hall.  Students in Grades 7 & 8 are asked to attend with their families, but families with students in grades 3-6 plus and younger siblings are welcome. Some ideas include raking leaves, shoveling snow or preparing a meal for someone in need. Service forms can be found in the Confirmation packet you were provided.
