Children's Liturgy of the Word will begin again this fall beginning on September 17 & 24, and we are in need of volunteers. No experience is necessary. We need presenters and helpers for this very important ministry for our children. Children hear and learn about the readings from the Sunday 10:30 a.m. Mass in a way that they can understand. We are restarting the Children’s Liturgy of the Word (CLOW) on Sunday, December 4 at the 10:30 a.m. Mass at St. Boniface. At the beginning of Mass, the priest will instruct children ages 3 through second grade to follow our instructors Sharon, Karen, and Jenny to the music room for approximately 20-25 minutes. This ministry explains to our children in "kids’ language" the readings of the Mass for that Sunday. Children are given activities to take home that they can share with their family. One of our best new programs is the Children's Liturgy of the Word (CLOW).  With drama, arts & crafts, the life of Jesus comes to life for the children. As a result, they love coming to church. We have flexible schedule openings for adults and teenagers to assist with these 20 minutes sessions (approximately twice per month during the 10:30 a.m. Mass at St. Boniface). We have been notified that a child who attended Children's Liturgy of the Word on Sunday September 19th (at St. Boniface) has tested positive for Covid.  No close contacts were identified.  Children who attended should be monitored for symptoms and wear masks in public settings for 14 days.  Testing is recommended if symptoms arise.

CHILDRENS LITURGY of the WORD Thankfully we will be restarting this highly successful prayer in September. Meanwhile, some new blood would be very welcome to this fun and necessary effort.
