August 9 - My first introduction to St Boniface was large numbers of parishioners making pierogis to sell at the Carnival. Since then I have witnessed the dedication and labor of our Parish Activities Committee as they strive to have fun and raise money for our ministries. Sadly, that won't happen this year. Together we reached the conclusion that we couldn't ensure everyone's safety. We will miss the joy of working together, watching small children giggle as they play a game and eating sausages followed by Eder's to quell the fire. But this cancellation for 2020 has a more serious impact. That one event generates cash equal to one month's collections. In other words, we will take a hit. Please, keep that in mind as you make your contributions.
