October 14 & 15 - Over two nights at St Boniface, approximately 180 people from various parishes in the Williamsport area heard the inspirational message of Christopher West and the poetic music of Mike Mangione. Based on the Theology of the Body initiated by Pope John Paul II, this promoted respect for the human body, noted our purposeful creation and the beauty of marital sexuality.  West reflected on the Song of Songs in the Old Testament as a metaphor for God's desired union with us.  Sexual love is a preview of that union with the Creator, especially in heaven. Mike's music captured the dilemma of love's disappointments and how God can fulfill that longing.
