Today is the World Day of the Sick. Today is the 29th annual World Day of the Sick, a day in which we're called to reflect on and pray for those who are sick, and also their caregivers, healthcare workers, and families. This year is especially poignant considering the current pandemic.

A society is all the more human to the degree that it cares effectively for its most frail and suffering members, in a spirit of fraternal love.
