All faithful in the Diocese of Scranton are warmly invited to a Lenten Holy Hour with the Most Reverend Joseph C. Bambera, D.D., J.C.L., Bishop of Scranton, in honor of the diocesan phase of the 2025 Holy Year of Hope. These gatherings will be held across each of the twelve deaneries within the Diocese of Scranton.

For our Williamsport Deanery, the Lenten Holy Hour will take place on Tuesday, March 25, at 7:00 p.m. at Saint Boniface Church.

The theme for the 2025 Jubilee Year is "Pilgrims of Hope." As Pope Francis so beautifully expressed, "We must fan the flame of hope that has been given us, and help everyone to gain new strength and certainty by looking to the future with an open spirit, a trusting heart, and far-sighted vision."
